SPRINGBOX COMPETITION 2025

The competition will be held during the weekend of Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd February in the SPORTS HALL at Robert May's school in Odiham (Postcode: RG29 1NA).  The Sports Hall will be signposted on the day and there is ample parking at the school.

Each competition is expected to last at least approximately 1.5 -2 hours depending on the number of competitors.

Please arrive to the Sports Hall no more than 10 minutes prior to your child's competition.

Parents / carers / siblings are welcome to come and watch.  Please bring £1 cash for each adult spectator.

If you would like refreshments on the day, please bring small change for the tuck shop.

Children will be put into a group and will be assigned a 'NUMBER' (1-6) ' so they'll know exactly which roll mat to warm up on the day. Their MAT NUMBER will be sent out via email the week prior to the competition. 

Our ethos is all about having fun, so we'll make sure that the environment is as welcoming and relaxed as possible for our competitors!

Pre School / Reception      9am

Year 1                                   11am

Year 2                                    1pm

Year 3                                    3pm

SUNDAY 23rd FEBRUARY:

Year 4                                   9.30am

Years 5, 6, 7, 8 +                11.30am

All children will receive a participation medal, a certificate, two finger lights and there will also be awards for 1st / 2nd and 3rd in each category.  Coaches will be acknowledging "most improved" from each club.  Profits made from the competition will go towards new equipment at the club and British Gymnastics coaching qualifications for our team.

If you haven't yet paid the £20 entry fee please ensure it is paid before Friday 31st Jan to ensure your child can be included.

We are unable to offer refunds on fees after 1st February for children who can no longer attend.

Children can wear a leotard or shorts and a t-shirt. If you wish to purchase any uniform please email odiham@springboxgymnastics.co.uk

DE Photos will photograph the event and you will be able to view and purchase the photos on the day if desired. 

Floor Routines

Please click HERE to access the floor routines on YouTube.  Bonus marks will be awarded if your child can remember their routine off by heart.  There will be helpers to prompt them if needed.

Vault / Rebound

Children will also be required to perform 2 springboard jumps or vaults.  This will be discussed during class time.
