SPRINGBOX COMPETITION 2025
The competition will be held during the weekend of Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd February in the SPORTS HALL at Robert May's school in Odiham (Postcode: RG29 1NA). The Sports Hall will be signposted on the day and there is ample parking at the school.
Each competition is expected to last at least approximately 1.5 -2 hours depending on the number of competitors.
Please arrive to the Sports Hall no more than 10 minutes prior to your child's competition.
Parents / carers / siblings are welcome to come and watch.
Exact timings will be given when entry forms have been collected in. The children will compete in the following order.....
SATURDAY 22nd FEBRUARY:
Pre School / Reception
Year 1
Year 2
Year 3
SUNDAY 23rd FEBRUARY:
Year 4
Years 5, 6 and Keystage 3 & 4
All children will also receive a participation medal and a certificate and there will also be awards for 1st / 2nd and 3rd in each category.... plus we will also be acknowledging "most improved" at each club. Profits made from the competition will go towards new equipment at the club.
Please note: We are unable to offer refunds on fees after 1st February for children who can no longer attend.
Children can wear a leotard or shorts and a t-shirt. (Ideally they will wear the club uniform)
Children will be put into a group and will be assigned a 'NUMBER' (1-6) ' so they'll know exactly which roll mat to warm up on the day. Their MAT NUMBER will be sent out via email the week prior to the competition.
Our ethos is all about having fun, so we'll make sure that the environment is as welcoming and relaxed as possible for our competitors!
We will also be joined by DE Photos who will photograph the event and you will be able to view and purchase the photos on the day if desired. There will also be a snack shop, so please bring change if you would like to buy some goodies on the day.
Floor Routines

Vault / Rebound
Children will also be required to perform 2 rebound elements. These will be discussed in class.
